Accounting Associate

Job Title: Accounting Associate

Job Location: Melville, NY

Salary: $60,000-$65,000/yr DOE

Responsibilities

• Process Accounts Payable vouchers
• Process monthly AP entries
• Process daily cash receipts
• AR Collections
• Verify timecards and time sheets weekly for payroll
• Process weekly check runs and time sheet reports
• Journal entries and analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent with 0-2 years prior related experience
• Cost and general accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
• At least a 3.0 GPA in Accounting/Finance major required
• Advanced Excel required (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.)
• Needs to be self-driven to look for improvements in processes
• Costpoint, ERP systems, Microsoft Office proficiency
