Unless specifically stated otherwise, this role is "On-Site" at the location detailed in the job post.Description:Performs basic accounting functions includingcompilation of financial information, journalentry processing, reconciliations, and theanalysis of data. Records, classifies, andsummarizes financial transactions and events inaccordance with generally accepted accountingprinciples. Initiates and processes journal entriesinto various accounts. Reconciles accounts asrequired and resolves differences. Providesfinancial information as required tomanagement. Uses various software applicationssuch as spreadsheets and databases to providesupporting documentation for schedules andjournal entries. Perform analyses on variousbalance sheet accounts such accrued salariesand wages, accrued vacation, accrued payrolltaxes, etc. Perform various administrative andaudit related tasks for timekeeping systems.Participate in new projects as they arise.Additional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesBasic Qualifications:-Bachelors degree in Accounting or related discipline from anaccredited college. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
