Accounting Associate

AmeriLux Family of Companies (AFoC) is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Associate to join our finance team. In this role, you will support day-to-day accounting operations, assist with account reconciliations, and help maintain accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
• Maintain and update financial records and documentation.
• Support the Finance team with invoicing, billing, and other accounting related tasks as needed.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice status and discrepancies.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting principles.
• Help prepare financial reports and support audits as required.

• Associate degree or equivalent coursework in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Prior experience in an accounting or finance role is a plus but not required—training will be provided.
