Our team is looking for a Temporary Accounting Associate – (AP) to join them. You will report to the Controller and will have an onsite work structure in Creedmoor, NC.
To be considered for the Accounting Associate– (AP) opening, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in accounts payable .
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in an ERP system and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
As an Accounting Associate – (AP), you will:
- Support AP Lead with Emails
- Assist with Processing vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with payment processing (checks, ACH, wire transfers).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable files and records.
- Assist with month-end closing and audit preparation.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to resolve issues.
