Accounting Assistant

Pay Range: $20.00- $24.00/h. + overtime

Summary:

The Accounting Assistant supports the accounting department with day-to-day functions by performing entry-level accounting duties. The primary work focus is maintaining records for accounts payable. The Accounting Assistant must have the flexibility and ability to manage multiple tasks from various managers.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Pull documentation for audits.
• Obtain approvals for miscellaneous invoices (i.e. freight, utilities, legal, etc.).
• Print utility bills from website.
• Maintain vendor change support forms.
• Scan all documents; upload and maintain files.

• Other duties assigned by management.
• Timely reply and follow-up with email communications

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Organization skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task with multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Accounting with Epicor or other ERP financial module
• Strong problem-solving ability.
• Communicate effectively in both verbal and in written form.
• Ability to collaborate within all levels of the organization.
