Key Responsibilities

This role will focus on processing Accounts Payable and maintaining Asset records across our companies.

• Process various types of Accounts Payable transactions
• Audit invoices against Purchase Orders and receivers
• Review and reconcile vendor statements
• Provide clerical support to the accounting department
• Maintain vendor profiles and compliance
• Process credit applications from new vendors
• Work directly with internal departments to verify expense coding
• Maintain Equipment files
• Process equipment renewals/registration/mileage-hours updates
• Manage fuel and toll accounts/credit cards
• Work with Trucking Department to record GPS, Inspections & Maintenance records
• File taxes associated with equipment usage

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Previous work experience in an accounting function
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
• Familiarity with finance regulations
• Able to handle sensitive, confidential information
