Accounting & Human Resources Assistant (Internship Position)
Position Summary:
The Accounting & Human Resources Assistant Intern will support both the Accounting and Human Resources departments with administrative tasks and day to day operations. This position is intended to provide hands on experience in accounting processes, onboarding, and general office administration within a hospitality environment.
Accounting Responsibilities:
- Assist with filing and organizing accounting records and invoices
- Support data entry and basic administrative accounting tasks
- Help maintain accurate financial and departmental records
- Assist with audits and document preparation as needed
- Provide general administrative support to the Accounting department
Human Resources Responsibilities:
- Assist with new hire orientation preparation and onboarding tasks
- Assist with scanning, filing, and administrative HR projects
- Support completion of onboarding paperwork and follow up items
- Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources department
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Detail oriented with the ability to multitask
- Interest in Human Resources, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred
