Job Title: Accounting Analyst

Pay Rate: $24/hr.

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8 AM- 4: 30 PM

Benefits: Medical, Dental, AD&D, PSL

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide Accounting Analyst Supervisor with daily volume, weekly and monthly reports.
• Oversee that the purchase order procedure is followed by the DC.
• Complete the 3-way matching verification for payment process of invoices.
• Order office products for DC and become the main contact for vendors.
• Facilitate the standardization of all DC’s operational reports to be in line with WCD, Inc Administrative Office directives.
• Review staffing agency invoices.
• Work directly with Accounting Analyst Supervisor, Operations Administrative Manager, and All levels of DC Management.
• Extensive data entry projects.

Skills and Abilities:

• Good organizational skills.
• Strong sense of teamwork.
• Able to adhere to strict deadlines.
• Must be able to manage and lead a diverse workforce.
• Strong computer skills required; excellent with Excel and all Microsoft automation.
• Must be able to interact with all levels of management and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education and/or Experience:

• 2 years’ experience with accounting or economics background.
• Some college courses in Accounting or Economics or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of DC operations.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to work standing up or sitting down for long periods of time.
• Must be able to traverse and access all areas of a warehouse environment.
• Must be able to work in a distribution center environment with a variation of temperatures.
• Ability to safely work around/with heavy moving equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, clamps, scissor lifts) in a high paced environment.
