Position Overview:

Finning Canada is looking to hire a permanent, full-time Accounting Analyst II to join our Finance team in Edmonton. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional to contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes while supporting strong financial controls and data-driven decision-making across the business. As an Accounting Analyst II you will play a critical role in developing, improving, and maintaining accounting processes, with a strong emphasis on efficiency, accuracy, and reliable internal controls. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and analyzing specific segments of the balance sheet and delivering value-added financial reporting to support operational and strategic decision-making.
This position is also responsible for the application of accounting principles and practices to ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions, maintenance of financial records, and preparation of financial reports in accordance with IFRS reporting standards.
