Academic Affairs Administration | Budget and Resource ManagementProvides business and financial support to the OAA Business Services and Finance Regional Campus team. Provides a wide range of accounting and fiscal services to the regional campuses (Mansfield, Marion and Lima). Works with a variety of campus personnel to ensure processing and operations are timely, efficient, and accurate. Maintains financial accounting record keeping system, reviews and analyzes expenditures. Performs monthly reconciliation of campus cost centers, prepares journal entries, cost adjustments and prepares for month and year-end close. Prepares ad-hoc reports as needed for analysis. Will be the main contact for co-locate invoicing, and reconciliation. As a team member of OAA Business Services this position will actively contribute to continuous quality, efficiency
improvement, and overall success of the team. The role reports to the Regional Fiscal Officer.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or finance or equivalent work experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to understand and navigate the complexities of higher education
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a varying day-to-day workload environment
- Knowledge of university policies and procedures preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel required
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Intermediate use of excel and familiarity with Workday Previous higher education experience
Additional Information:
This is a hybrid position that requires working on-site two days per week, with the remaining days eligible for remote work.
The on-site days may be at Lima, Marion or Mansfield campus.
Minimal travel beyond the on-site office days is required for this position.
The target hiring range for this job profile is $ 22.93 - 24.00 The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
