    Qualifications:

    • A bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or accounting-related major.
    • A valid certificate preferred as a Registered Municipal Accountant; or Certified Public Accountant; or a master's in accounting.
    • At least five (5) years of work experience.
    • Work experience in accounting and financial management, preferably in public school accounting.
    • Knowledge of the principles and practices of financial accounting and reporting procedures consistent with statute, code, and GAAP requirements.
    • Knowledge of accepted business practices in public school districts relative to accounting and budget preparation.
    • Organization and communication skills.
    • Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal registered alien status.

    Salary

    • Min. Starting Salary $65,000, commensurate with experience.
