Essential Job Functions:

• Manage full-cycle accounting for assigned entities, including general ledger maintenance and month-end close activities.
• Prepare and process customer billings and monitor accounts receivable collections.
• Process accounts payable invoices, payment requests, and vendor disbursements in a timely and accurate manner.
• Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Analyze financial activity and investigate variances or discrepancies.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate supporting documentation.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking as requested.
• Prepare and file various tax reports and business filings, including sales/use tax, personal property tax, and other required compliance filings.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure proper coding, approvals, and financial accuracy.
• Support annual audit requests and provide requested documentation.
• Maintain organized accounting records and documentation in accordance with company policies.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and internal controls.
• Assist with special projects and other accounting or finance duties as assigned.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• At least 3 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
• Experience in senior housing accounting preferred
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient with MS office (especially Excel) and accounting systems (Yardi preferred)
• Motivated self-starter able to successfully set and meet goals
