A well-established industrial business in George is looking to appoint a reliable and detail-oriented accounting professional who can take ownership of the full bookkeeping function, manage complex bank reconciliations, and work independently within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Full bookkeeping to Trial Balance
Large-volume bank reconciliations
General ledger reconciliations
Month-end accounting support
Maintaining accurate financial records
Assisting with reporting and financial administration
Ensuring financial accuracy and compliance

Minimum Requirements

Matric
Diploma in Accounting/Bookkeeping or BCom Accounting advantageous
3–8 years' relevant accounting experience
Strong bookkeeping-to-trial balance experience
Extensive bank reconciliation experience
Proven QuickBooks experience (non-negotiable)
Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Stable employment track record

Preferred Background

Experience within SME, industrial, manufacturing, or commercial environments
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Residing in George or surrounding areas

Package

Half-Day Position

R20 000 per month

Full-Time Position

R35 000 per month

Start Date

Immediate availability preferred
Training commences 22 June 2026
