Accountant

JOB SUMMARY:

Our Accountant will be responsible for monitoring general accounting practices, analyzing revenue and expense data, and budgeting and contract data. The successful candidate will play an instrumental role in the financial future of our growing agency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTANT:

• Compile financial data for preparing financial statements and balance sheets
• Share in various AP duties (bill entry, bill payment, check runs, etc)
• Reconcile subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger
• Reconcile bank accounts and cash collections to the proper accounts
• Maintain and update expense allocations
• Assist with analyzing revenue and expense variances
• Prepare contract billing, fixed asset schedules, wage analysis, and forecasting as necessary
• Improve internal accounting policies and maintain existing policies

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Strong financial analysis background, organizational skills, and accuracy
• Exceptional computer skills, including Excel and accounting software
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

PREFERRED:

• Experience with NetSuite
• Experience with "by hand" reconciliations and journal entries
• Audit experience

LOCATION: Once hired, the Accountant has the choice of being located at either of our offices in Kenosha or West Allis, with flexibility for hybrid work scheduling.

SCHEDULE: Full-time 40 hours per week Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm

PAY RATE: $25.00-30.00 per hour
