Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with accounting regulations, and support the company's financial operations. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with budgeting and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Monitor company expenses and ensure proper cost allocation.
• Process payroll and maintain payroll records.
• Prepare tax filings and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to management.
• Maintain accounting systems and ensure data accuracy.
• Assist with cash flow management and financial planning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience preferred.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and accounting software.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Experience in construction accounting is a plus.
• Knowledge of payroll processing and tax compliance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
