Staff Accountant
Position SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Staff Accountant to support the day-to-day financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple financial processes accurately and efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Analyze financial data and prepare supporting reports for management.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Ensure accuracy of financial transactions and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Prepare journal entries and account adjustments as needed.
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting processes.
- Help analyze variances between budgeted and actual results.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and other financial records regularly.
- Research and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Process invoices, payments, and vendor communications.
- Monitor outstanding balances and ensure timely collections and payments.
- Assist with financial analysis and reporting on key business metrics.
- Provide support for data-driven decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.
- Assist with implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of accounting experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
