Accountant, Junior

The Junior Accountant is responsible for supporting the accounting team in managing and recording accounting transactions, as well as assisting in the preparation and analysis of financial reports. This is an entry-level professional role in the field of accounting that supports senior accountants and the Accounting Department in various accounting and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Enter and record financial transactions in the company’s accounting system.
• Handle all sales closing and finalization processes for RCGA.
• Reconcile commissions for Sales Executives and Finance Executives.
• Prepare and generate reports for all units sold.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all daily transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting reports.
• Collaborate in the preparation of accounting reports needed for decision-making.
• Ensure all accounting records are kept current and comply with accounting policies and regulations.
• File and organize accounting documents efficiently.
• Prepare documentation and provide required information for internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with auditors to facilitate the review of accounting records.
• Assist in managing administrative tasks related to the Accounting Department.
• Participate in special projects and tasks assigned by the Controller.

Requirements:

• University studies or accredited institution in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Basic Knowledge of the Accounting Cycle
• Ability to work with accounting systems or programs such as ADP, CDK or similar
• Competence and knowledge in Microsoft Office such as: Word and Excel
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Effective communication skills and ability to work as a team
• Ability to work with a minimum of errors
• Previous experience in accounting practices or similar roles preferred
