Position Overview:

The general purpose of the Accountant II position within the Enterprise division of the Controller’s Office is to maintain and analyze general ledger information and review financial transactions. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements and special reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends. The role conducts variance analyses and applies intermediate knowledge and skills of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). The Accountant II also prepares audit work papers for annual or special audits, ensuring accurate supporting documentation for assigned areas or funds, and responds to auditor questions and requests in a timely and accurate manner.

Pay Range:

$65,390 - $81,740 (Annual)

Hours:

Monday – Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Telework opportunities may be available after an initial training period. Work schedules are implemented to meet the requirements of the department and are subject to change based on business needs.

Staff eligible to telework must be in the office for at least 40% of their scheduled work week.
