- Assist with daily accounting activities, including posting transactions and maintaining accurate records.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and schedules under the guidance of senior accountants.
- Perform basic reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and assist in researching variances.
- Help monitor cash activity and coordinate weekly disbursements with assigned clubs as applicable.
- Collaborate with General Managers, Operations leaders and Corporate teams to provide financial support.
- Participate in training sessions and contribute to process improvement projects.
- Developing ability to present financial information in a clear and professional manner, with opportunities to support internal discussions and occasional client-facing presentations.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and M365 Suite.
- Understanding of fundamental accounting principles (GAAP).
- Internship or coursework in accounting or finance.
- Familiarity with accounting software (training provided).
- Interest in pursuing CPA certification.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving aptitude.
- Experience with Jonas Club Management software.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required.
