The Division comprises the Ferguson College of Agriculture and two state agencies: the Oklahoma Agricultural Experiment Station and the Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service. For more information, visit: https://agdivision.okstate.edu/.   Position Details: The successful candidate will join the finance team to provide financial services, complete financial-related processes, and perform tasks for multiple units/departments as assigned. This individual will support the Finance Team Manager and team.  This individual will prepare and review financial reports, reconciliations, revenue analyses, expense analyses, encumbrance analyses, and assist with budget development and control with an emphasis on grant-related finances, for the units/departments they serve. The successful candidate will perform accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, purchasing, and budgeting. This position will work with the unit/department heads, faculty members, staff, and students on the status of departmental and grant accounts. The successful candidate will also work with other finance team staff, as well as other Finance and Business Operations staff within the Division. Accountant I or II title placement will be decided upon at the time of hire based on education and experience.   The office consists of a small and efficient team where members regularly work independently and in teams. The team invites new ideas and strives for a willingness to work with others. Routine meetings occur with faculty and staff in conference room settings.
