Accountant, Global Ads Incentives and Process Innovation

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in finance or treasury, working on cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience with internal controls and financial reporting processes.

Preferred qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Experience with technical accounting, ASC 606 implementation, and business recognition.
• Experience managing process improvement initiatives.
• Experience leveraging SQL and data visualization tools to drive business insights and decision-making.
• Experience with project management and organizational tasks within a team environment.

In this role, you will support audits, implement technical accounting standards like ASC 606, and leverage data analytics to unlock business insights. You will collaborate cross-functionally to automate standard processes and focus on financial improvements.

Responsibilities

• Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with changes to existing financial processes.
• Provide financial records and supporting documentation to auditors and assist with the development of process cycle memorandums.
• Use data to extract meaningful insights and monitor the performance of different business areas.
• Implement technical accounting standards, including ASC 606 and business recognition requirements.
• Lead process innovation projects to automate financial reporting and enhance operational efficiency using emerging technologies.
