Accountant

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join the accounting team at Gorilla Glue. This role is responsible for supporting core accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and contributing to month-end and year-end close activities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Accounts Payable, General Ledger accounting, reconciliations within a fast-paced manufacturing or consumer products environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting operations, including but not limited to participating in full accounts payable cycle.
• Perform daily General Ledger activities,
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger
• Analyze Accounts payable data and identify discrepancies or process improvement opportunities
• Support internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation and schedules
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
• Partner with cross-functional teams including operations, procurement, and finance
• Assist with accruals, fixed assets, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support process improvements and automation initiatives within accounting functions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong experience with:
  • Accounts Payable
  • General Ledger accounting
  • Month-end close
  • Account reconciliations
• Experience in manufacturing or consumer goods industry preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Oracle Fusion experience is a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
