BayCare Clinic Corporate Headquarters is looking for an Accountant to join our team in Green Bay, WI. We’re looking for a compassionate, thoughtful candidate who wants to contribute to a positive experience for all our patients. The typical hours for this role are Monday-Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm. No Holidays! No Weekends!

We are a physician-owned entity with joint ownership in Aurora BayCare Medical Center, a 167-bed hospital located in Green Bay, WI, offering us a built-in referral base. The Job:
- Prepares journal entries and calculates accruals.
- Reconciles balance sheets and bank statements.
- Reviews general ledger and generates monthly financial statements.
- Generates monthly accounts receivable reports, variance analysis, profit distribution calculations, narrative graphs and other reports specific to site/company.
- Reconciles payroll to general ledger.
- Maintains fixed asset system.
- Codes general ledger accounts on invoices.
- Assists site managers with the preparation of budgets.
- Enters/maintains budget information in Great Plains software.
- Completes personal property tax returns.
- Completes bank account transfer journal entries as needed.
- Assists with miscellaneous reports as needed.
- Respects and maintains confidentiality.
- Works in a safe, compliant and ethical manner at all times
The Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting and a minimum of 2 years accounting experience.
- Experience in healthcare preferred.
- Must possess excellent analytical, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and accounting related software is necessary.
