We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to analyze financial information, prepare reports, and ensure accuracy in financial processes. This role will play a key part in supporting month-end close, maintaining financial integrity, and collaborating cross-functionally to improve accounting operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze month-end financial statements, including accruals and expense reviews
- Research and resolve variances, posting errors, and unusual trends in financial data
- Support audit preparation and year-end workpapers
- Collaborate with departments to provide accounting guidance on transactions, projects, and system updates
- Assist with daily accounting tasks such as journal entries, check runs, and vendor settlements
- Contribute to process improvements, system implementations, and testing efforts
- Participate in special projects (e.g., fixed assets, sales tax, incentive programs)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field)
- 2–4 years of accounting experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Intermediate Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail with strong accuracy in financial work
- Ability to identify issues, research solutions, and recommend improvements
- Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
