Accountant/Bookkeeper

We have a customer in Tucson, AZ who has an IMMEDIATE long-term opening for a Accounting Specialist/Bookkeeper with 10 years+ experience.  In this role you will support general accounting functions for a company that is involved in engineering, mining and mineral processing.  If you or any of your colleagues are interested in this position, please click APPLY NOW.

You will be involved in all phases of general accounting including A/P. A/R, invoicing, payroll, financials, new hires, job offers, phones and general office and HR support as needed.   

This is a long-term DIRECT HIRE. 

Salary range is $30-45/hr depending on experience. 

Position must be worked on site in Tucson, AZ office and my offer some flexibility in schedule as needed. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 10 years+ experience in general accounting and bookkeeping, Degree NOT mandatory
• Must have good computer skills and experience with ProCore or similar S/W packages
• Experience with invoicing, A/P, A/R, payroll, expenses, taxes (for business in multiple states), start-up paperwork for new employees
• Ideally experience working for a engineering, consulting, contractor or manufacturing firm
• Strong communication and documentation skills, attention to detail and ability to support company President, Engineering and Field personnel
• Ideal candidate will also have skills in HR areas including onboarding, job offers, start-up paperwork, benefits, etc.
