Are you an organized financial professional looking for a stable part-time role with excellent long-term flexibility? American Workforce Group has partnered with a locally owned logging company to find a detail-oriented Accountant/Bookkeeper. This position offers a unique, phased schedule that opens up into hybrid/remote work!
Description for Accountant/Bookkeeper:
- Manage accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Excel.
- Process and compile critical trucking and fleet reports.
- Oversee routine payroll processes for the team.
- Prepare and file necessary quarterly tax documentation.
- Organize and finalize essential year-end financial reports.
Details for Accountant/Bookkeeper:
- Pay: Competitive (Based on Experience / DOE).
- Schedule Evolution: Starts in July at 10 hours/week for training through September. Transitions to 20 hours/week in October.
- Flexibility: Eligible to work remotely a couple of days per week after the training period!
- Shift Hours: To be determined (Flexible daytime options).
Requirements for Accountant/Bookkeeper:
- 1–2 years of professional accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel data entry.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage a hybrid workflow.
