Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Full-Time Bookkeeper / Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations across our corporate and franchise support structure. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, clean data, and actionable insights for leadership.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with QuickBooks Enterprise, including the use of classes/dimensions for multi-location or multi-entity reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily & Weekly Accounting

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks Enterprise
• Record and reconcile all transactions (bank, credit card, loans)
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Process and track intercompany transactions (corporate vs. franchise-related activity)

Monthly Close & Reporting

• Perform monthly close process, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Maintain and manage financial dimensions (locations, departments, entities)
• Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Ensure consistency and accuracy across all reporting categories

Franchise & Multi-Location Support

• Track and reconcile franchise-related revenue (royalties, fees, marketing contributions)
• Support reporting by store, region, and ownership structure
• Assist in creating scalable systems for multi-unit growth

Operational Support

• Collaborate with leadership on budgeting and forecasting
• Identify discrepancies, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement
• Maintain organized financial documentation and audit-ready records

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (multi-location or franchise experience preferred)
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise
• Experience using classes, dimensions, or segmented reporting
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple entities and priorities simultaneously
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a franchise or multi-unit business
• Familiarity with service-based businesses or retail environments
• Exposure to scaling companies or high-growth environments
