Become a Key Player as an Accountant Analyst
You will safeguard and analyze site financials to support improved growth and profitability for the Devens site. You will partner with functional leaders and managers to influence operational decisions, drive budgeting and forecasting, and strengthen internal controls. Onsite in Devens, MA.
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Prepare and maintain general ledger, asset, liability, and capital account entries.
- Compile balance sheet, profit and loss statements, and management reports to summarize current financial status.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies and analyze trends to prepare diverse and complex financial reports.
- Support budgeting, planning, and financial performance measurement for a site with approximately $79M in revenue.
- Maintain and audit accounting controls and internal policies; recommend and write procedures.
- Provide technical accounting support, ensure compliance with GAAP (and applicable CAS/FAR), and advise management on financial actions.
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement and special project teams, including financial system implementation and automation efforts.
- Train and mentor less experienced employees and act as a contact on high-level projects.
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- BS degree in accounting, finance, or economics (advanced degree preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in general and cost accounting.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); general knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and/or Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
- Experience with automated accounting systems and proficiency with spreadsheet applications (macros) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and present findings to team members and leaders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Pay Range
$38.58 - $48.22/hour
