Key Responsibilities
As the 360 Recruitment Consultant – Accounting & Finance, you will be responsible for growing your own portfolio of clients while managing the complete recruitment lifecycle. You will build lasting relationships with employers and accounting professionals, helping organizations hire exceptional talent while advancing candidates' careers.
Business Development & Client Management
- Proactively identify, prospect, and secure new client relationships through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and strategic business development.
- Build trusted partnerships with hiring managers by understanding their business, workforce challenges, and long-term hiring objectives.
- Conduct client meetings to present recruitment solutions, negotiate service agreements, and provide ongoing market intelligence.
- Deliver exceptional client service that results in repeat business and long-term partnerships.
Full-Cycle Recruitment
- Manage recruitment assignments from initial intake through offer acceptance and post-placement follow-up.
- Source, recruit, interview, assess, and present high-calibre accounting and finance professionals for permanent and contract opportunities.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals, internal databases, and other recruitment technologies.
- Prepare candidates for interviews while providing coaching, feedback, and career guidance throughout the hiring process.
Relationship Building & Talent Management
- Build and maintain a strong network of accounting and finance professionals across Western Canada.
- Foster meaningful relationships with passive and active candidates to create long-term talent pipelines.
- Stay connected with placed candidates and clients to ensure successful placements and identify future opportunities.
- Serve as a trusted career advisor by providing market insights, salary guidance, and industry trends.
Market Expertise & Collaboration
- Develop specialized knowledge of the Accounting & Finance market, including current hiring trends, salary expectations, and emerging skill sets.
- Collaborate with colleagues across divisions to identify cross-selling opportunities and deliver comprehensive recruitment solutions.
- Share market intelligence and best practices while contributing to a high-performing, collaborative team environment.
- Continuously improve recruiting strategies by embracing new technologies and innovative sourcing methods.
Performance & Business Growth
- Consistently achieve and exceed recruitment and sales performance targets.
- Maintain accurate records and activity within the CRM and applicant tracking systems.
- Manage multiple recruitment projects while prioritizing competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Contribute to the continued growth and reputation of the Accounting & Finance division.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:
Education & Experience
- Post-secondary education in Business, Human Resources, Commerce, Finance, or a related discipline is considered an asset.
- Previous experience in agency recruitment, executive search, staffing, business development, or consultative sales is highly preferred.
- Experience recruiting Accounting & Finance professionals is an asset; however, experienced recruiters from other specialized disciplines will also be considered.
- A proven track record of developing business and managing client relationships.
Technical Skills
- Experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and consultative sales methodologies.
- Ability to leverage technology and market intelligence to identify and engage top talent.
