Role Description:
We are seeking a senior-level professional to join our dynamic team! Our Tax Group provides planning and tax compliance services to inbound and outbound owner/entrepreneurial clients. The Tax Senior will be responsible for a range of tasks that include year-end accounting, tax preparation, and ensuring compliance with tax law. The successful candidate will work with a team of experienced professionals and will assist clients ranging from individuals to corporations.
Tax Compliance: Prepare and review complex corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
Tax Planning: Advise clients or internal stakeholders on tax planning strategies to optimize their financial position and minimize tax liabilities.
Research and Analysis: Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, research tax issues, and provide insightful analysis to support decision-making.
Client Management: Build and maintain relationships with clients or internal departments, addressing their tax-related concerns, and providing proactive advice.
Audit Support: Assist in tax audits by gathering necessary documentation, responding to inquiries from tax authorities, and representing the organization in discussions with tax authorities.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance and legal departments, to ensure a holistic approach to tax compliance and planning.
Training and Development: Stay informed about industry trends and share knowledge with junior team members, contributing to their professional development.
