Overview

World Travel Holdings is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant. In this remote role, the Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for ensuring that revenue activities are appropriately recognized. They will also handle the accounting and analysis of various promotions for multiple owned and private label partner brands.

Responsibilities

  • Own the revenue recognition process for our Villas division and D2C business
  • Reconcile and process loyalty redemption invoicing for multiple private label partnerships
  • Reconcile incoming invoices for multiple private label partnership loyalty promotions
  • Provide analysis of promotions to marketing directors and executives
  • Assist with external audit
  • Other projects and analysis assigned as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor‚Äôs degree in accounting, finance, or related major is required
  • 5 years‚Äô experience in accounting or finance
  • Strong familiarity with GAAP
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP, SUMIF(S), COUNTIF(S), CONCATENATE, nesting multiple formulas, and pivot tables
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience with Great Plains or similar accounting program preferred
