Senior Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Staff Accountant to join our team. This role will play a critical part in supporting operational accounting processes, month-end close, reporting, and interdepartmental collaboration to ensure accurate financial data and process efficiency.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Month-End Close & Reporting:¬†Prepare monthly financial statements, journal entries and reconciliations for¬†expense allocations, certain accrued liabilities, and healthcare revenue, while ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Expense Reimbursement: Review and manage employee expense reimbursements, ensuring compliance with company policies and efficient processing.
  • Corporate Card & Budget Inquiries:¬†Help support¬†p-card requests¬†and budget-related questions as needed.
  • Financial & Operational Dashboards:¬†Build, maintain, and support key financial reports ensuring visibility into financial performance.
  • Accounts Payable (A/P) Management: Oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring timely payments to vendors and resolution of any discrepancies.
  • Audit Support & Process Improvement:¬†Assist in¬†internal and external audits, while identifying¬†opportunities for automation, efficiency, and process enhancements.
  • Payroll Management: Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payments for all employees, including clinical and administrative staff.

 

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor‚Äôs degree in¬†Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years¬†of relevant accounting experience, healthcare is a plus.
  • Proficiency in¬†accounting software¬†(QuickBooks and Bill.com) and¬†Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong¬†attention to detail and accuracy¬†in financial transactions and reporting.
  • Excellent¬†organizational and time management skills, with the ability to¬†handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong¬†communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and with external stakeholders.
  • Self-starter¬†who thrives in a¬†fast-paced and dynamic environment.
