REMOTE Customer/Software Support Specialist (Accounting Related Exp. Req.) Description

Our client, a leading provider of software solutions for local governments and municipalities, is seeking a Customer/Software Support Specialist to join their team. In this fully remote role, you will provide customer support, troubleshooting, and training for accounting-related software solutions. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, enjoys problem-solving, and has prior experience in customer support, software support, or government software. Experience with finance, payroll, or revenue collection software is preferred. However, candidates with an accounting-related education or hands-on accounting experience are encouraged to apply. REMOTE Customer/Software Support Specialist (Accounting Related Exp. Req.) Responsibilities

•    Responsible for day-to-day customer support of financial software products
•    Deliver customer training, product demonstrations, and user guidance
•    Respond to inquiries, document interactions, and track issue resolutions
•    Monitor and manage open support tickets, ensuring timely resolution
•    Analyze customer needs and identify software solutions to meet business requirements
•    Research and resolve complex customer issues, escalating when necessary
•    Clearly communicate technical information to users in both formal and informal settings
•    Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions, escalate as needed
•    Help build an internal and external customer facing FAQ and informational resources
•    Develop and maintain an in-depth working knowledge of products and processes

REMOTE Customer/Software Support Specialist (Accounting Related Exp. Req Qualifications

•    2+ years of experience in customer/software support or government software is required
•    Accounting or financial transaction experience (via education or work history) is required
•    Experience providing training and user support is required
•    Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills required
•    Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new software quickly is required
