Candidate must be local to the Endicott, NY area.Work within a team of procurement professionals to action material requisitions per MRP planning recommendations for assigned commodities.Using controlled sources, issue Request for Quotation (RFQs) to approved suppliers, followed by negotiating pricing and delivery terms, to award Purchase Orders (POs) while adhering to all company procurement policies and procedures.Establish working relationship with supplier sales counterpartsActively work with supply base to resolve delivery misalignments and overdue ordersWork with Commodity Managers to contribute to strategic initiatives and escalate supplier issues, where applicableResolve delivery, receiving and accounts payable issues in a timely mannerCollaborate with Material Planners to support meeting the needs of the businessThe Procurement Analyst will use strong communication and organizational skills to build relationships internally and externally. It is expected that the Procurement Analyst will maintain their order backlog on a regular basis to facilitate proper manufacturing planning through MRP. The Procurement Analyst will work with the Material Planners to mitigate schedule risks and escalate as appropriate, as well as work with the established buying team for training, other resources, and team building.Additional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesRequired Education, Experience, & SkillsBachelor's degree with 2 years work experienceProficient with Microsoft Office SuiteStrong individual workload organization skills with the ability to multi-taskStrong communication skills and email managementInclination toward proactive continuous process improvementPreferred Education, Experience, & SkillsKnowledge of FAR and DFARS regulationsPrevious experience in procurement of various commoditiesFamiliarity with Oracle ERPProfessional Supply Chain certifications such as CPIM or PMPPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $61278 - $104173Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
