Job Description

Our client is a dynamic and growing company in the financial services industry.  They are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented  remote Part Time Accounting & Remittance Specialist with
QuickBooks Online
experience.

This remote role offers the flexibility to work part-time hours within standard business hours (Monday through Friday).   

You will play a vital role in managing retirement plan remittances, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing valuable insights to the CFO.  This position will be on Innovative Outsourcing's payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and analyze financial statements and other QuickBooks Online reports.
  • Process and allocate payroll deductions for retirement plans to various vendors.
  • Ensure accurate and timely remittances to investment and insurance companies.
  • Maintain meticulous records of plan numbers, vendors, and payment details.
  • Input financial data into spreadsheets for CFO review, highlighting any discrepancies.
  • Proactively identify and report issues with remittances, ensuring prompt resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance a plus.¬†
  • 5+ years of experience¬†in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Proven proficiency¬†in QuickBooks Online with strong reporting capabilities.
  • Advanced Excel skills¬†for data management and reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience with payroll deductions and remittance processing required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple financial transactions accurately.
Compensation: $40-$50 per hour, based upon relevant experience
