Position Summary:

Manage the financial reporting, budgeting and financial analysis of Logistics operations. Provide leadership to implement programs that support the Customer 1st and Associate 1st Strategy. Role model and demonstrate the company�s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage the financial reporting and analysis of all Logistics operations and results to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities.
  • Direct all budgeting activity for Logistics field and administrative operations.
  • Monitor division financial results against budgets and division glide paths.
  • Advise the executive management group of implications of past and forecasted results on divisions financial plans and Customer 1st strategy.
  • Direct Logistics capital spending function, including responsibility for financial analysis and presentation of spending requests to Capital Committee.
  • Participate as active member of Logistics senior management team in strategy development, operations management and ownership of expected results.
  • Provide guidance to senior Logistics management on appropriate financial strategies and tactics, insuring adherence to all appropriate financial policies and procedures.
  • Manage the Logistics field financial organization to provide appropriate support to field operating directors/managers.
  • Communication of Logistics financial information to Logistics management, corporate senior management, retail division management and external service providers.
  • Interact with Real Estate and Facility Engineering departments for project submission approvals.
  • Maintain control environment that supports complete and accurate financial reporting, including support and execution of controls identified as key purposes of Sarbanes-Oxley.
  • Develop and support relationships with respective accounting service center.
  • Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor�s Degree in Accounting/Finance
  • 10 years of management and accounting experience
