Indirect Tax Senior Analyst

Advanced Sterilization Products is looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Indirect Tax Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Tax Analyst with us you will have the opportunity to work across the organization and own the indirect tax compliance and processes. This includes implementing impactful improvements and automation that will impact our team's ability to support this global business.   

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Analyze and reconcile sale and use tax and other indirect tax accounts on a monthly basis;
• Work with service provider on preparing and processing sales and use tax and other indirect tax returns;
• Review and process sales tax disputes;
• Proactively work with customers to address sales tax exemptions as they near expiration;
• Manage, respond to, and resolve state and local sales and use tax and other indirect tax inquiries;
• Assist with gathering information to respond to sales and use tax and other indirect tax audits;
• Perform tax research, clearly communicate findings and recommend action items;
• Assist in indirect tax related data and process improvement projects as needed.

Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor‚Äôs degree in accounting, finance, or related field (Master‚Äôs in tax or accounting preferred);
• 3+ years of experience in a corporate tax department and/or a public accounting firm.

• Self-motivated and willing to undertake process enhancement projects;
• Curious learner with continuous improvement mindset;
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Experience with Sales and Use Tax Compliance, Audits, and Process; property tax experience is a plus
• Advanced MS Excel skills;
• Experience running and designing Alteryx workflows (advanced Alteryx users preferred);
• Experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred

Responsibility for Others and Interactions with Internal and External Teams

• This role will be a member of the APS Global Tax Team. Effective collaboration within this team and the broader finance team and other internal teams such as procurement team and commercial operation team will be critical
• This role will interact with outside consultants, Fortive Tax, auditors and others
