About The Role:Draganfly Innovations Inc. is looking for an Accountant to support the Finance team in managing purchase orders, invoice matching, accounts payable runs, and related finance activities.
This is a full-time remote role within the Finance department, reporting to the Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage purchase orders by maintaining the dashboard, resolving discrepancies, and completing procurement follow-ups.
- Execute invoice matching by reviewing GRNI reports and processing PO-related invoices and prepayments.
- Prepare weekly AP runs to ensure timely and accurate payments for Draganfly entities.
- Complete other finance and accounting tasks as assigned.
- Maintain accurate PO and AP records, ensuring supporting documentation is complete and properly coded.
- Work closely with internal teams and vendors to resolve invoice, pricing, quantity, and payment discrepancies.
- Support month-end activities related to AP, accruals, and reconciliation as needed.

- You are comfortable working with finance systems, Excel, and data, and you take the time to investigate discrepancies instead of overlooking them.
- You communicate clearly with vendors, internal teams, and colleagues, especially when following up on missing information or resolving issues.
- You are reliable, organized, and able to manage recurring deadlines such as weekly AP runs while staying flexible when priorities shift.
- You bring a problem-solving mindset and are always looking for ways to improve processes, reduce errors, and support a growing finance team.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred.
- Prior experience handling purchase orders from a finance perspective.
- Hands-on experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Good Excel skills, specifically for managing data and matching reports.
- Strong communication habits for cross-departmental and vendor collaboration.
- High attention to detail to spot pricing, quantity, and coding errors.
Compensation:
- Competitive salary: $60,000 - $65,000 CAD
