With a commitment to operational excellence and financial integrity, we are seeking an experienced Controller to lead our accounting and financial operations.

Position Overview: The Controller will oversee the financial health of the organization by managing accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and driving continuous improvement in financial processes. This hands-on role requires a proactive leader with extensive experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the accounting team, including accounts payable, receivables, payroll, and general ledger functions.

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in accordance with GAAP.

  • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

  • Provide detailed financial analysis and reports to support strategic decision-making.

  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Oversee cash management, banking relationships, and financial audits.

  • Implement best practices to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.

  • Collaborate with operational leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorβ€šΓ„Γ΄s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.

  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role.

  • Experience in the restaurant, hospitality, or multi-unit retail industry is highly preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.

  • Proficiency in financial management systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
