🚗 Now Hiring: Automotive Business Manager / Finance Manager

Mid Hudson Subaru, a proud member of the VIP Automotive Group, is seeking an experienced Automotive Business Manager / Finance Manager / F&I Manager to join our growing Sales Department.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive F&I Manager, Business Manager, Finance Manager, or Desk Manager who understands dealership finance, compliance, the automotive sales process, lender relationships, and effective sales team leadership.

You will work closely with the Sales Management team to support the sales process, structure and fund deals, present financing and protection products, maintain compliance, and help drive the overall success of the dealership and Sales Team.

💰 Compensation & Schedule

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Offer vehicle financing and insurance products to customers and provide a thorough explanation of aftermarket products, extended warranties, financing options, dealership policies, and manufacturer service procedures
• Assist the Department Manager in leading and directing the entire Sales Staff while working as a Finance / Desk Manager
• Maintain thorough knowledge of and consistently enforce the company's Road to the Sale and sales process
• Develop relationships with new lending institutions and maintain strong relationships with existing lenders to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs
• Ensure all deals are fully compliant with local, state, and federal requirements
• Prepare contracts, deal paperwork, and deliver completed deals
• Review, manage, and update the customer database as required for the Sales Team
• Ensure the expeditious funding of all contracts
• Promote the success of the dealership, company, and Sales Team
• Strictly adhere to and enforce company policies, processes, procedures, and core values
• Work closely with Sales Management to structure and complete deals efficiently and accurately
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, accuracy, confidentiality, and customer service throughout the finance process

🔐 Dealership Finance & Compliance Responsibilities

The Business Manager / Finance Manager is responsible for consistently following required dealership compliance procedures, including:

• OFAC process completed on all deals, including cash transactions
• Privacy Notice provided as required for all customers
• Risk-Based Pricing Form completed when a customer's credit is run
• Red Flag process completed with every customer
• Rate Deviation process completed with all applicable deals, including Taillight reporting
• Final Acceptance completed on all deals through DARWIN
• Required printouts/documentation maintained in the deal jacket, whether paper or digital

💼 Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have strong automotive dealership finance and sales management experience and be able to perform the essential duties of the position successfully.

Qualifications include:

• Previous experience as an Automotive Business Manager, F&I Manager, Finance Manager, or Desk Manager
• Strong knowledge of automotive dealership finance and lending
• Understanding of automotive F&I products, warranties, protection products, and financing programs
• Knowledge of dealership compliance procedures and documentation requirements
• Experience working with lenders and financial institutions
• Strong understanding of the automotive sales process and Road to the Sale
• Ability to lead, coach, and support a Sales Team
• Strong deal-structuring and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume dealership environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow company policies and procedures
