Accounts Payable Specialist (Remote)

• Responsible for vendor invoice vouching, including review of invoice, obtaining the proper internal business approval, and ensuring accurate coding to general ledger
• Responsible for tracking vendor prepayments against POs, retrieving final invoices, and applying prepayments to final invoices
• Daily interaction with vendors to assist with any questions or concerns
• Retrieving statements from vendors and completing monthly reconciliations
• Assist management in preparing weekly and month-end reports, including but not limited to: AP Aging, month-end accruals, etc.
• Collaboration with other team members on various accounting transactions
• Assist management with year-end audit and other requests such as vendor data maintenance and 1099s

Must Haves

• Minimum two years of relevant Accounts Payable experience
• Associates degree or higher in Accounting, Business, or related fields, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including Pivot Tables and V-Lookups
• Effective verbal/written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and well-organized
• Ability to be flexible and pivot as needed, using excellent time management skills to prioritize daily work

Strong Pluses

• Oracle Accounts Payable module experience
• NetSuite or other Accounts Payable software experience
• Concur expense reporting software experience
• 1099 experience
• Experience with international vendors
