Schneider Downs Accounting Advisory Services practice offers a variety of technical accounting advisory services, as well as outsourced accounting and finance advisory services, for every type of organization from small businesses that have limited resources, to large publicly-traded and privately-held companies who need technical expertise.
As an Accounting Advisory Senior, you will join our rapidly growing practice whose clients engage with us to help solve their complex accounting and finance challenges where no two projects will be the same. This requires you to think on your feet and think in unique and creative ways to develop answers to complex issues. This is an entrepreneurial opportunity for someone who will be a key member of this growing practice area.
Schneider Downs has embraced the hybrid work model, so this role will have flexibility working from home, as well as in the office. We are also open to individuals working remotely for this opportunity if they are within driving distance from our clients and offices.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
•Consult with clients on complex accounting and finance issues which may include, but are not limited to, technical accounting issues, financial reporting, operational accounting, buy-side or sell-side accounting assistance and post-merger integration
•Assist in development of detailed project plans to respond to our clients’ unique needs and expectations
•Execute project plans and create client deliverables
•Technical accounting advisory projects require detailed assessment, extensive research, detailed testing procedures and significant technical writing
•Outsourced accounting advisory projects require assisting clients with day-to-day accounting, month-end close, bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, month-end financial statement preparation and other such corporate accounting responsibilities
•Participate in career development activities and technical training of staff
•Develop and sustain relationships with client executives and senior management
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other related technical discipline
•Minimum of two years of experience, either working in corporate accounting or public accounting roles
•CPA license eligibility
•A proven track record of working on multiple projects simultaneously and delivering excellent client service
